New Glarus is located in the rolling hills of Green County, Wisconsin, 25 miles south of Madison on Highways 69/39. You can get here via many of Wisconsin's scenic county highways - if you have the time, and a good map, explore the beautiful countryside of southern Wisconsin. We have noted the main routes for your convenience.

Directions from Chicago/Northern Illinois
Take the NW Tollway (I-90) to Beloit, Wisconsin. Exit I-90 at Highway 81 West. Follow 11/81 west to Monroe. Take the Monroe bypass to the New Glarus/Highway 69 exit. Follow Highway 69 north to New Glarus.

Directions from Milwaukee/Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota
Take I-90 south at Madison to the junction of I-90 and Highway 18, east of Madison. Follow Highway 18/151 west to the Highway 69 exit, south of Verona. Take Highway 69 south to New Glarus.

Directions from Dubuque, Iowa
From Dubuque, follow Wisconsin Highway 11 to Monroe. Take the Monroe bypass to the New Glarus/Highway 69 exit. Follow Highway
